Good Foot and the 1st Night At The Wilsons
On June 20th 2017, GoodFoot Delivery hosted our first ever spring event! A Night At The Wilsons was something a little different. The GoodFoot Delivery team was joined by James Van Reimsdyk and Zach Hyman of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Bryan Muir (retired) of the Washington Capitals, Dave Hodge from The Sports Network and our wonderful musical guest Terra Lightfoot.
What made this event even more unique was the location. If you are a hockey fan, especially a Leaf fan, then you will be sorry you missed out. The event was held at the home of Mike Wilson and Debra Thuet. What makes this location unique (aside from the fact it is a gorgeous home) is that it hosts the largest Leafs memorabilia collection outside of the hockey hall of fame. Better known as The Ultimate Leafs Fan, Mike has amassed a collection that would make any grown hockey fan feel like a kid again. Even for those of you who are not hockey fans it is a sight to see. One can not help but revel in the history and even the mystery of these items.
A night of hockey talks, amazing food, drinks and a history lesson, all topped off by 115 incredibly wonderful guests – this is a night the entire team at Good Foot Delivery will not soon forget. The night was an experience created to get to know Good Foot Delivery, celebrate what we have accomplished and of course, to raise funds to grow and continue our mission.
