Good Foot is the Official Charity Partner of the TTC Challenge

November 15th, 2021 Blog

Ready, Set, Go!

Today marks the first day of the 2021 TTC Challenge, and we are so proud to announce that Good Foot has been chosen as the official Charity Partner for the second year in a row.

From November 15th to December 15th, people from all over Toronto are being challenged to walk or run the entire length of Toronto’s subway track. That’s a 76.5 km trip across the city! Throughout this journey, participants will be encouraged to raise money, and all of the proceeds raised will go towards Good Foot. We couldn’t be happier to be chosen for this important event.

As the official Charity Partner last year, Good Foot raised over $25,000 through the incredible generosity of Toronto’s runners and walkers. Because this year is the 100th anniversary of the TTC, we hope to rise to the special occasion and raise $30,000.

Here are some highlights from the 2020 TTC Challenge last year:

  1. Alan was featured on the Canada Running Series YouTube page to thank participants for raising money for Good Foot. He is such a great spokesperson for Team Good Foot!
  1. Good Foot had 3 office staff and 3 Couriers participate in the Challenge last year, and all of them successfully completed the 76.5 km mission. What an accomplishment!
  1. Last year our goal was to raise $25,000 for the In, Up, and Out Program. Not only did we achieve this incredible goal, through our community’s generosity, we beat the number by $241.95!

We are proud to be chosen as the Charity Partner this year. Our Couriers use the TTC every day as an accessible and environmentally friendly way to complete deliveries through Good Foot. It’s truly at the core of our business model!

The TTC helps our Couriers be independent in the city, and their passion is why we are so excited to be the official Partner of this challenge. Head to the registration page to sign up for the challenge or donate to Good Foot! Make sure you follow along for updates on our social media page.
