Good Foot Delivery’s Run Club Kicks Off as We Train for the TCS Waterfront 5K
Although the debate continues in our office about whether summer is truly over, one thing is for sure—Run Club has officially begun! Last Thursday, the Good Foot team hit the Central Tech track, kicking off our training for the TCS Waterfront 5KM Race, with support from trainers from BlackToe Running. Their guidance helps ensure that all of our runners, regardless of experience level, are prepared for the big day.
We’re running for a future where neurodivergent adults have the same opportunities as everyone else to lead independent and fulfilling lives. At Good Foot, this vision includes offering meaningful and safe work for our Couriers.
Empowering Neurodivergent Couriers: Our Mission
Every day, our Couriers deliver essential goods across Toronto, playing a crucial role in supporting the needs of individuals and businesses throughout the city. Whether it’s bringing medication to seniors, delivering urgent legal documents, or dropping off birthday flowers, our work makes a difference.
But it’s not just the deliveries that matter. Behind the scenes, our support staff empower Couriers to create the life they want for themselves and their families. At Good Foot, this is just the beginning of something bigger.
Hands-On Support and a Vision for the Future
Our Dispatch team provides hands-on guidance while Couriers navigate the city, ensuring they feel both independent and supported. Independence is powerful, and our team is always ready to provide judgment-free assistance whenever needed.
Our team is also partnering with businesses to revolutionize employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals. We’re working toward a future where neurodivergent talent is recognized and sought after in the workforce.
Our Couriers’ Voices
Jodie, who has been a Courier with Good Foot for over five years, sums it up best:
“Working at Good Foot means a lot to me. I like to do deliveries independently. It is nice to have Good Foot staff support me when I need it.”
