Social Programs
Community is at the heart of Good Foot, and we believe that social networks are the fabric of our community. Studies show that social interaction promotes quality of life and improves social skills.
In this mindset, Good Foot provides frequent opportunities for Couriers staff and Program Participants to build relationships and develop connections. Many of our social events include Good Foot “Alumni” – former Couriers and Participants who have moved on to different things beyond their time with Good Foot.
We host a range of events each year including: monthly board game nights, biweekly DnD sessions hosted by a peer Courier, laneway BBQs, karaoke, bowling, and of course our famous Holiday party each winter.

Good Foot Run Club
Each year, Good Foot partners with BlackToe Running to host the Good Foot Run Club in preparation for the TCS Toronto Waterfront 5K.
Over six weeks of training, volunteers from the BlackToe Run Club guide participants through warm-ups, form-building exercises, and structured running workouts. Their coaching focuses on proper technique, speed, and endurance, while ensuring that every session is welcoming and accessible for runners of all abilities.
On race day, each participant is paired with a pacer from BlackToe or a Good Foot office team member to help them cross the finish line with confidence. And, of course, the celebration continues after the race at the finish line!
We’re so grateful to our partners at BlackToe Running for helping our team put their best foot forward every year.
